Garage organizers come in many shapes and sizes. There are specialty racks, shelves, and cabinets. There are hoist systems, overhead platforms, and other ingenious ideas that people have come up with to help organize stuff. Sometimes “garage organizers” even refers to a type of person, as in people who organize garages. Usually it just refers to ways and means of making sense of life’s various things that tend to clutter up our garages and homes. Lets take a closer look at this last area. A good place to start is to break down the things that you and your family members use on both a regular and an occasional basis.
You and your kid’s bikes are probably things you use often. These things can be stored with specialty racks that make it possible for you to access your bikes easily and quickly. without having them lying all over the floor. Picture how nice it would be to not have to deal with bikes flopping all over the place, or tripping on them when you try to navigate your way past them to try to get to something else. All in all, garage organizers for bikes is a wonderful idea.
Other things you use frequently that really benefits from garage organizers is sports equipment. Soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, golf clubs, roller blades, and all sorts of other things can be safely and neatly stored in bins and on hooks designed just for such things. This sure beats the normal dump-it-on-the-floor-and-run routine that most kids use. It doesn’t seem to matter how many times you ask them to put their things away, they somehow just end up all over the garage floor. If the kids know that there is a specific rack or bin for their stuff, it makes it more likely that they will use it.
Things that you use infrequently would be things like fishing gear. Garage organizers help make sense of this stuff too. Chances are you have fishing poles, reels, nets, and other fishing stuff that only gets used every once in awhile, but mostly just sits in a jumbled mess. Instead of piling all that stuff up willy-nilly in a corner of the garage somewhere, why not organize it neatly. Next time you get ready to go fishing, loading up will be a snap. Plus, you’ll save yourself the frustration of dealing with rods and reels that are a mess.
Probably my most favorite garage organizers are garage storage cabinets. These can be left on the floor on rollers, or mounted on the wall, or even situated on a table top. Many are lockable, and most have adjustable shelves. Paints, stains, sandpapers, miscellaneous hand tools, and other items that can really turn your tool boxes into jumbled messes go great in these sorts of cabinets. Like all garage organizers, these cabinets make our lives easier because the frustration of dealing with things out of place goes away. Instead, we create an environment where we can think clearly, access things we need easily, and just create a more relaxing vibe in our day to day lives.
Garage organizers come in all shapes and sizes, and I recommend them highly if you are interested in simplifying both the frequently, and infrequently, used items in your life. Do an inventory and decide to take action. Get the organizers you need and smile.
Each softball season the dreaded budget discussion begins as to how high expenses will be and how to generate the needed revenue. Like all things, it isn’t getting any cheaper. Umpire fees continue to rise as well as insurance, softball equipment, and field supplies. Additionally, as cost rise, the number of girls that have to be scholarshipped in also rises adding more financial burden to the league.
The primary sources for funding a youth softball league are the individual sign up fees, the league-wide fundraiser, corporate sponsorships, and perhaps income from concession sales. However, as the cost continue to rise it is becoming increasingly difficult to raise individual fees and also to garner the corporate sponsor. Further, if the truth be known, a very large percentage of the candy sales are picked up by the player’s parents. I can’t tell you how many boxes of oversized candy bars I have purchased over the years so my daughter’s didn’t have to burden the neighbors with their sad-eyed sales pitch.
The upside, to the typical sources of funds, for a League are that they do produce a significant amount of revenue. The downside is that all of these methods of fundraisers require an inordinate amount of time and effort. Even something as simple as just collecting sign up fees requires many man-hours. Just try finding fifty corporate sponsors and see how long that takes. And the candy selling fundraiser, I can’t imagine the total number of hours spent knocking on doors.
What if there was a passive means of generating revenue for your Softball League, or any non-profit organization for that matter? What if there was something the league could spend one hour on and it generated revenue for the league from now on? It wouldn’t even matter how much money it generated as long as it generated income 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for years and years to come. I have good news for you.
Earlier this year I surveyed over 300 youth softball league web sites. There were some really great sites and then there were some that were pretty simple. Some of the sites included listing of their corporate sponsors and some did not. But NONE of the sites had advertisements provided by Google. Oh my, what a GOLDEN opportunity everyone of these leagues is missing.
Let me explain how this works. Anyone, or entity, that has a web site can apply to Google to receive advertisements placed on their web site. It takes about five minutes to read through Google’s information and to submit the application. It is absolutely free to apply and join. Once that is done, Google will review the site and approve or disapprove the application. I can’t imagine them denying any non-profit softball league.
Once approved, Google will notify the applicant via email and will provide some code for the league web master to copy and paste onto pages on the league’s site. The web master can determine the placement of the ads, as to at the top or bottom of the page, or wherever they think is best. Don’t worry, Google doesn’t put those hideous pop up banners on your site.
Once the ads are on the site, when a visitor to the site clicks on an ad, revenue is generated for both Google and for the owner of the web site, or in this case, for the Softball League. Google keeps track of all of the clicks and the associated revenue, and when that revenue reaches a certain threshold Google will direct deposit or mail a check.
Google has done an excellent job of coding their ads so that only relevant ads appear on the web pages. Since we are discussing Softball Leagues, I would suspect that the ads would primarily be softball related. As such, they won’t seem intrusive to your league membership. In fact, the league members will probably appreciate added sources of information being available to them.
It’s impossible to say how much income this fundraiser could provide for a softball league. I seriously doubt it would ever replace any of the existing sources of income for softball leagues. However, it is essentially effortless income which could ease the financial burden of playing softball.
I don’t believe this is a matter of if a non-profit organization will allow advertising on their web site, but when will they embrace it. The truth of the matter about non-profit organizations is that they have all have two primary goals. The first goal is to produce whatever it is they produce, in this case it would be producing a fun softball league. The second goal is to raise money to support goal number one.
Is accepting advertising a foreign concept to non-profit organizations? Absolutely not. The baseball team I played on growing up was the Dr. Pepper Rockets. That was over 30 years ago that my league was accepting advertising revenue. I think the only issue now is when will these softball leagues become informed about the potential revenue their web sites hold. Once the secret is out, I suspect their will be a quick movement towards web site advertisements.
As internet advertising continues to grow, and as more people become savvy of web sites, Softball Leagues and other non-profit organizations will undoubtedly come to realize the value of their sites and unlock the revenue generating potential of their virtual real estate.

What does a garage organizer have to do with selling your home? Well, it is a tough market right now, so anything you can do to make your home more appealing can make a difference between whether someone chooses your home or another one. When selling a home, a seller naturally looks at what they can do to increase outside curb appeal, and do small things inside to make the home look larger and more airy. But one area that is often overlooked is the garage.
A garage is used for a lot of things in a home, so it is important to make it as appealing as the rest of the house. Many realtors give you a basic check list for getting your house ready to sell, but not much in the way of garage organizer tips to help present this part of your in the best light possible. Here are 3 tips I learned to prepare the garage for a home sale.
Now, in the first home we sold, there was no garage, so I didn’t give it any thought. But the home we sold this summer we had a 2 car garage. Our first impulse was to use the garage for storage. Not very bright, tons of boxes stacked in the garage does not help it to look bigger! It is amazing how small a cluttered garage can look, it makes a buyer ask, can I really get two cars in here? You are probably packing up a lot of your extra stuff to help make your house look roomier, but don’t store all that stuff in your garage, get a storage unit. It is only short term, and is well worth the money if it keeps your garage from getting cluttered. Get a basic garage organizer. There are a lot of great options available to help you organize your garage. After all, you don’t want your garage totally empty, you want to stage it so that it looks like a good, usable space. Here are a few garage organizer ideas: Shelves - perfect for storing boxes, camping and other outdoor items. Wall units - these will really catch a perspective buyers attention because they will say a lot about you being a highly organized person! These walls are designed to be highly customizable. You set up a variety of hooks, small shelves, bins and cabinets on the wall and use them for hanging garden tools, storing sports equipment, and a whole variety of other items that are typically kept in a garage. Overhead storage shelves - these are cool! Great for storing items not accessed very often. Plus, they free up the floor for other uses. Any home buyer would be excited to see one of these in a garage. Cabinets - These come in assorted sizes and configurations, but they are great for storing items while keeping them hidden behind closed doors, making your garage look even neater. There are other garage organizer items available, but any of those mentioned above is a great place to start. Plus, most are mobile, so you can take them with you to help organize your new garage from the very beginning. Clean your garage. Sweep it out really well, spray it down, perhaps even apply some concrete cleaner to remove stains. If stains are really set in, then you could consider an inexpensive garage flooring option, such as interlocking tiles or roll out mats.
These ideas can really make your garage stand apart from others. And though someone is not going to buy your house because they love your garage, it can be the thing that tips the scale in your favor. So remember, use a storage unit, clean up your garage, and use a great garage organizer system to help your home stand apart from the competition.
Household organizing ideas are a good way of keeping your house in tiptop shape. Not everyone has their personal housekeeper after all. Keeping everything in order also has a way of making your house look bigger and better than it really is.
If you want to know more about household organizing ideas, read on!
1) Put each in its proper place.
Sadly, most of us have an annoying habit of taking one thing from a room and leaving it somewhere else where it shouldn’t be.
Books from the library find their way into the dining room. Children’s toys wind up on the kitchen floor. If you want to keep your house organized, it’s best to practice putting everything back in its proper place.
2) Invest in solid colors.
You might not think that the color of your wallpaper or your furniture has anything to do with household organizing ideas, but you could be wrong.
Wallpaper with too heavy patterns can make even an organized room look cluttered. Whereas a solid-colored wallpaper makes it easy for you to see if anything is misplaced. The same applies to heavily patterned furniture.
3) Have a “one-place-for-all.”
Isn’t it annoying when there’s paper all over the place? One household organizing idea is to determine one place where you can put all your mail and bills.
Some stores sell colorful boxes that double as home accessories. You can buy one of those or make your own decorative box instead!
4) Arrange your books into certain groups.
These days, clothes aren’t the only things you can sort by type, size or color. If you have a lot of books, you can arrange them by topic, color, or size as well.
For simplicity’s sake, let’s say you want to organize them by colors. You could put all books with orange covers on one level of the shelf and all blue covers on another shelf. Arrange them all by height.
You might be surprised at how doing that instantly makes the whole room organized. Plus, it easily becomes the focal point and makes for a great conversation starter.
5) Get rid of unused items.
Sometimes, most of what makes up the clutter in the house are things we hardly even use anymore. Unfortunately, a lot of people find it nearly impossible to part with their previous belongings.
Take that stuffed toy collection you’ve had for 8 years as an example. You know you don’t really need them and yet you still keep them around to collect dust. One of the household organizing ideas that never fails to refresh any home is to get rid of these unused items. You could sell them to earn some extra cash, or give them to charity and make other people happy.
You don’t need to be Betty Crocker or Superman to be able to take care of your household. These household organizing ideas are applicable to everyone.
Wheeeee! Yippy! Hurray! Isn’t that what you think when you think about garage organizers? I didn’t think so. But it isn’t all that bad is it. I know some people like to keep all their camping gear, tools, family collectibles, Christmas decorations, food storage, sports equipment, and other miscellaneous goodies in a, shall we say, “creative” storage system. Believe me, I understand.
I know that the space above most bedroom closets is a vast expanse of unused and neglected space right? You have absolutely no idea what you could possibly put there to fill it up. Yeah! And those boxes in the hall that have been there since last Christmas aren’t any big deal. They aren’t really in the way that much. Oh, and of course, the tangled piles of who knows what stored so neatly in the garage are so accessible right? Not! I’m not trying to interfere with anybody’s system of chucking, shoving, and forgetting. It’s a good system. That is, if you don’t mind the risks of not having garage organizers to keep everything ship shape.
Oh there are risks. Let’s say you get home from your ski trip with all your stuff. You’re tired and just want to get the SUV unloaded asap and get in the house where it’s warm. You drop your skis, bags and boots somewhere in the mystery pile, somehow never quite getting around to going back out and truly taking care of them. This is a problem. We all have enough stress in our lives. We don’t need the frustration of discovering our favorite tool or sports item damaged or ruined because something else scratches or otherwise damages it out of carelessness. It makes life miserable next time you go to use your stuff. Gear that is abused just doesn’t last as long or even stay in as good of condition as it could. This ends up costing you more money and frustration. Too risky for me. So, here’s a thought for your consideration: garage organizers are fun. What a revelation! Just makes me all giddy thinking about them.
You are probably thinking, “give me a break” right? Okay, here’s my deal. We all have stuff all over the place that we think we will remember where it is when we need it, and then when we do we just can’t seem to find it. I have had some experience with this cute little aspect of modern living. Four kids and two pets give me lots to keep track of. Until I discovered the power of garage organizers I would drive myself crazy looking for items I thought I would never misplace, searching for any possible square inch to put just one more thing into. This is not fun. But with garage organizers I walk around with a Cheshire cat grin on my face all day long just knowing how safe and sound all my stuff is. No more worry, no more risk, no more irritation. Just fun!
So go ahead, get yourself some garage organizers and try it out. You know, cabinets, workbenches with shelves and drawers, racks, hooks, and bins. Stuff like that. Heck, why not go all out and get a whole garage storage system. You know, those beautiful matching garage organizers that you’ve been dreaming about. Life is dreary enough. You deserve some fun!
There they are. Put away when you moved into your new home almost ten years ago, those boxes have been pushed from side to side, front to back, stacked on top of one another and then moved again at least once every 365 days as you have struggled to reorganize your garage. But the time is upon you! Stop pushing, shoving and stacking. Let’s get serious about garage organizing. Your automobiles will thank you for it.
Realistic garage organizing can only start when you first accept that you are really never going to use what you have had put away for more years than you can imagine. You have to get rid of the mushiness and move on. Once the emotions are in check, you can classify, stash away, and put to use or donate your favorite old belongings. Then it is time to take on the rest of the clutter in your garage.
• First, take everything out of its current position. That includes running automobiles, mowers, boats and any other big items from the garage.
• Second, organize everything. Put all tools in 1 place, sports equipment in another, housecleaning supplies in another, hand tools in another, and so on.
• Third, take inventory. This organizational trick will allow you to key out matching items so you can dispatch the extras or eradicate items that haven’t been utilized in many years. It will also assist as a great chart to help you control the flow of the items that you stock in your garage.
• Fourth, design the flow. The freezer and house cleaning items need to be close to the door leading into the house. Gardening instruments might store nicely next to the door leading to the back yard as will shovels and rakes. Hand tools require special storage with an organizational scheme of their own.
• Fifth, set-up the activity centers. Do you own storage shelves or are you storing things in boxes? If your money permits, organize your garage with shelves and cabinets that provide easy access to your material. If you use your garage as a shop, be sure to give yourself a bench so that you can use your tools efficiently.
• Sixth, reload. That’s right, start putting all your items away according to when, why and how frequently they are used.
Your garage organizing isn’t over until you’ve taken the broom and given the area a nice, clean sweep. Nothing appears better than tidy shelves, a glaring floor and tools hanging in their proper places.
Now you are ready for the piece de resistance. It is time to return your automobiles, those four-wheeled investments, back inside to the warmth and luxury of a well organized garage.
Home organization ideas will become apparent as you broaden your thinking and problem solving skills. For instance, consider the task of organizing a pantry. If you think of what a pantry is, what it does, and how it is normally used, you can easily see the parallel between pantries and closets. Both pantries and closets store items in a closed protected environment, and are used on a daily or nearly daily basis. So couldn’t we likely apply some of our closet organization ideas and principles to this food closet we call a pantry? The answer is of course we can.
When you hear someone say that they are organizing their closet, usually visions of clothing piles come to mind. We get rid of the clothing piles by culling out the unused or unusable items, and organize what is left. Any left over space is exploited with shelving or containers, and we are left with a well organized easy to use space, With a pantry closet, a similar set of organization tools can be used.
First, seek out and cull any unused or unusable foods. Keep in mind that food items like dried goods in boxes have a shelf life, especially if opened. It should make sense then to keep your dry goods in an arrangement that allows for easy rotation as leftover foods go stale. Like unworn clothes, foods that were bought but never used should be culled at the same time as stale goods as well. Once you’ve completed this step with your dried goods, limit your purchases to more match what you use and you will reduce waste.
Factory sealed canned goods on the other hand have a much longer shelf life, and we can modify our efforts here. Because of their shelf life, canned goods often make up an emergency food supply. If you choose to have such a supply, stack these items toward the back of deep shelves, but keep the labels visible to avoid over-duplication or the rare but possible expiration of these items. Your frequently used items can take up the outer portion of your shelves, again using a grouping strategy with labels visible.
With both of these groups of stored foods, consider donating canned or boxed goods you know you will not eat, or consider handing them over to a neighbor or visiting family member or friend.
A third group of items considered in usual pantry items are paper goods such as paper plates and napkins, and paper towels. Kept in their own area of the pantry, it’s easy to see your stock level, and keep these products in store fresh condition. You’ll have far less chance of over-buying, and have less instances of dirty or dusty or missing paper goods when needed.
The fourth group that frequently gets stored in a pantry are items like onions, garlic, and other fresh items that do not require refrigeration. Consider aeration though, and you may wish to look at a couple hanging baskets for these goods. Air circulation will keep them usable longer, and you can quickly catch items ready to spoil.
Eons ago when the first garages were built, it was with the intention of storing wagons, horses and tack and was called a barn. People did not horde a lot of stuff so they did not have a lot of need for storage. Those who were wealthy and had stuff, had big houses and servants to worry about where to put it all. With the advent of the modern age and the invention of the automobile, the modern garage was born. But the modern garage wasn’t just used for cars. Slowly the modern generation became pack rats, after all, there is just so much neat stuff that we need! With the computer age, not only were there a lot of advances in technology, but we have also become a society that loves our recreation and new forms of recreation are constantly being invented. We also have a lot of hobbies, from wood and metal working to landscaping and gardening. So what do we do with all this stuff? We put it in our garages and before we know it, our cars do not fit.
At first, the solution in garage organizers was shelves, and then cabinets. But lets face it, many things in our garage do not fit well on shelves and cabinets. Then in 1985, Racor came along and started to come up with innovative solutions to help store the hard to store items. Of course, it did not take long for other companies to follow.
So, what do you have to store? And what are your storage options?
Balls and bats - for these you can find some great baskets that hang on the wall or stand on the floor, that include hooks and shelves for bats, gloves and shoes. These garage organizers also work great for roller blades and accessories. Bikes take up a lot of room in a garage, and the storage options are many. You can hang bikes solo or multiples, by their wheels or horizontally by the top tube. Some wall hooks even include a small shelf for helmets and shoes. Besides walls, there are also lift options to hang your bike from the ceiling. This is great, because anybody who has kids, has bikes! Fishing gear - Any fisherman knows, that tangled poles are nothing but a pain, so wall rod racks are a great solution to keep your line straight.Golf clubs - If you are a solo player, then you can just use a basic hook, but if you have multiple bags, then you can find garage organizers that will hold both bags plus your shoes.Ladders - You can get large hooks to hang your ladder upright, or larger units that will hang your ladder plus more horizontally.Lawn and Garden - this category includes anything from large to small garden tools, wheel barrows and hoses, and you can find garage organizers to solve any of these problems! You can get a garden tool rack that will hold multiple large tools that also includes a small shelf and basket for many of your smaller gardening items. There are also special hooks for your wheel barrow and hoses.Skis and snowboards - These are nice to store during the summer but also keep accessible for the winter. There are a variety of racks available, for one pair of skis to many pairs. Most also include hooks for poles and some also have shelves for boots. There are also some great options for snowboards to store them flat against the wall that have adjusting arms so that it also works for skateboards and wake boards. Tennis and other racquet sports - for this you can find a great system that allows you to hang your rackets and store you balls as well.Tools - many of the hooks that work for lawn and garden, also work for tools. You can also find smaller containers that can be hung and work great for nuts and bolts etc. as well as baskets for cans, rags or whatever.
So, with the modern age, find modern solutions, they are out there and these great garage organizers will allow you to not only store your toys in the garage, but also your car!
Home garage organization is one of those things we just love to put off or ignore all together. In some cases, this tendency has a price either in wasted time, wasted money, or even personal injury. Some garage organization tips follow, tips you can use if you set your mind to doing so. That is the hard part though, right? In effort to at least get you started, and to give you a chance at finishing at least a step or two, we will keep this simple.
Most garages have some sort of front or side bench or combination of both. Most of those benches become a permanent home to parts, scattered tools, buckets of bolts, and a list far to long for public disclosure. Congratulations, you’ve found your valid starting point, and a goal - reclaim your bench space.
One key tip for finishing a garage organization project I use myself is to pick out the car or toy I hate to leave outside, and back it out into the driveway. Then, in the case of a bench cleaning, move EVERYTHING off and out from under the bench into the now empty place. Do you think we have sufficient motivation now? The prized toy cannot come back in till the job is done, so you better get started.
You should now have a (huge?) pile, and a new view of your workspace and storage areas (just remember, they are separate things and we will now use them that way). Once you are over the shock and surprise of that new outlet or bench grinder you rediscovered, grab a broom and pan, and anything else you need to get the bench-top and underneath clean. Do it now or it will not get done.
Now we can look at tip number two. Call it the two step. Step one is to cull out things like old batteries for recycling, scrap steel and aluminum, and that spare radiator with a hole in it. Put those things outside the garage, out of reach of the magnetic field of your bench and odd corners of your garage. They will fight you to return, but be strong. Step two is distract yourself from those newly liberated items by placing your large items to a place under the bench where they make sense. The snow-blower, mower, or tiller, and things like the shop vac are first. A bonus tip here is to put those items one deep with nothing behind them or in front of them. you should be able to move these items in and out from under the bench without moving anything else, and have a completely empty stall to return them. This gives you fewer surprises and quests, and saves time and effort when these items are needed. Repeat the two step outlined above till there are no more trash, junk, recyclables, or large to mid-size itemsleft. The pile is getting pretty small now, and you can still see a work-bench. Amazing, isn’t it?
Time for a new tip. If you are prone to being a pack-rat and collecting bolts, nuts, and brackets, now is the time to organize these as well. The hidden tips here are usefulness, and weight, and quantity. Do you really need 1 inch bolts and nuts to fix the car or mower? Put them with your scrap. Do you like emptying that five gallon bucket to find a washer? Besides weighing way too much, this time honored system is a real time waster, so sort your fasteners into coffee cans, bins, or one gallon buckets instead. All the time you are working this way, keep in mind junk versus treasure, and how long and how many steps to put your hands on say a 3/8 by 2 inch bolt and nut. When you are all done, now decide based on combined weight and space, what would be a good place to put them? If you have many bins or buckets and they are a bit heavy, you can place them in one area under your bench with nothing on top of them so you can easily see and retrieve what you need.
At this point, the end should at least be in sight. Tools, power cords, power tools, all cost money. Store them accordingly and finally make use of your pegboard and toolboxes and hooks like they should be used. If you find at this stage there are still lots of things on the floor, resist putting them on the bench, and consider more weeding out and re-organizing. Remember, if you clear this stage, your garage will be organized and efficient, and you will have your work-bench back. Really dig deep into the relocate, trash, or treasure mode though and you can get done.
Pat yourself on the back, sweep up, and pull the toy back in it’s place. But, what about the recycling stuff outside? That is up to you, the day of the week, and what recycling is available. The point is that entire pile outside can go, and should no longer find a permanent home in your garage. In fact, by using the steps above, you’ll find yourself reluctant to even let them back in your newly organized garage, so it’s up to you. Make a few bucks if you can, or else it’s trash.
The hardest parts of home garage organization are starting, culling, and finishing. This brief system above actually helps me in my battle of procrastination, and hording. Try them yourself.

Need fast and simple solutions for your garage organization problems? Here are seven tips to help you get that garage in order and organized for good.
Hanging Racks
Getting racks that you can hang from the rafters of your garage works great for a variety of items. This garage organization solution works especially well for bikes. It keeps them from taking away valuable floor space while still keeping them easily accessible.
Hooks
Hooks are a great solution for many garage items. Long handled items that have a hole in the end work well to hang on hooks. If you use tarps or any sort of cover for your car or grill, hanging these things on hooks in the garage when they are not in use works very well.
Pegboards
This is one of the best garage organization tips that there is. Pegboards are the most flexible and inexpensive garage organization tools that there is. You can easily change how your garage is organized just by changing where you put your pegboard holders.
When you do get it organized exactly the way you want, take a picture of it and hang the picture up next to the holders. Do this for every section of the garage that has pegboard holders. It works best to do this for each section of the pegboard rather than taking a picture of the entire thing.
Shelves
The best way to use shelves in your garage is for storing containers and smaller items. Make sure that whatever shelving you install will be able to handle the weight load of what you are going to put on it.
Keep sharp and dangerous items off the floor
This is one of those garage organization tips that seems obvious but which is not always easy to follow. Making sure that things like rakes and hoes get put in their proper place is important for safety. When these items end up on the floor, you can have an unpleasant surprise if you are not watching where you are walking. Always put back items in their proper place that are potentially dangerous.
Secure hazardous items
This is another one of those garage organization tips that has to do with safety, always an important topic when you are dealing with garage storage. Anything that is toxic to humans or animals should be kept in a secure area that small children and pets cannot reach. Things like paint, weed killers, bug sprays and gas all belong in this category. If you have pets that go in the garage and they can climb, this means putting these items in high cabinets that you can close. If you have children, it is always a good idea to let them know at a young age what is and is not dangerous in the garage.
Wall Tool Holders
These work well for weed trimmers, shovels, rakes, garden equipment and brooms. Having a wall tool holder not only helps keep these items organized but it also means that they stay off the floor.
Over the last several years, some very gifted endurance athletes have gone from famous to infamous after drug tests indicated they took banned substances, and illegal sports supplements, to enhance their performance. These men and women have been stripped of their Olympic gold medals and other prestigious accomplishments, been the subject of countless headlines and have sullied their reputations forever. By seeking an unfair advantage, these endurance athletes have gained the dreaded asterisk next to their names in publications and destroyed any possibility of lucrative endorsement deals for the rest of their lives. Many have gone from the very pinnacle of their sports to ignominy in a very short period, and it seems that with each doping scandal, the list of sports organizations’ list of banned substances grows longer. Even some drug-free sports supplements are causing problems.
The Sports Supplements Approval Process by the Food and Drug Administration
For a sports supplement to gain approval for sale in the U.S., they must endure the same vetting process as products categorized as “dietary supplements.” This includes drug-free sports supplements. According to the Dietary Supplemental Health and Education Act (DSHEA) signed into law in 1994, a dietary or sports supplement is a product taken orally that contains a “dietary ingredient” intended to supplement the diet. As you might guess, DSHEA’s definition of what constitutes a sports supplement and a dietary ingredient is quite a bit more detailed. However, under DSHEA, the firm that manufactures a sports supplement is wholly responsible for ensuring their product is safe, and any claims made about their products must be substantiated by adequate evidence showing they are not false or misleading. Unless a sports supplement contains a new dietary ingredient not previously vetted by the FDA, FDA approval is not necessary before they are marketed or sold in the U.S.
Which Sports Organizations Test and Approve Sports Supplements
Professional and elite amateur sports organizations have a vested interest in ensuring that their endurance athletes are not taking banned substances. Billions of dollars in advertising, merchandising and endorsements are at stake. Outfits such as the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, International Olympic Committee (IOC) and countless other professional and amateur organizations require that athletes submit samples for testing at regular intervals. The heavyweight in the banned substances testing business, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), may not be well known to sports fans, but it is the ultimate authority in drug testing in sports.
With offices in Montreal, Canada, and Lausanne, Switzerland the home of the IOC, WADA was created in 1999 “to promote, coordinate and monitor the fight against doping in sport in all its forms.” The problem is that WADA and the drug-testing wings of all major sports organizations are constantly playing catch-up with the chemists who develop new performance-enhancing substances undetected by the testing protocols of the day. This is the primary reason why Tour de France champions, Olympic gold medalists and other endurance athletes are often stripped of their titles years after their victories.
What to Look for in a Sports Supplement
Whether you’re a world-class athlete looking to gain a competitive edge or an amateur athlete seeking the same advantage, an athlete must be certain that the sports supplements included in a training regimen contain no banned substances. This includes drug-free supplements. Endurance athletes who are seeking sports supplements to improve their performance and endurance legally should look for:
ISO/17025 Drug-Free Certification ISO/17025 is an internationally recognized standard for ensuring the competence and proper calibration of testing laboratories. Laboratories wishing to gain accreditation through their designated accreditation body must meet the rigorous standards of this quality management system.
Sports Supplements made in NSF-certified facilities The National Safety Foundation (NSF) is the world leader in product certification, education, standards development and risk management for public health and safety. Manufacturing facilities that have earned NSF certification have passed this organization’s stringent standards for cleanliness, manufacturing protocols, regulatory compliance and other standards for public health and safety.
WADA approval Approval by the WADA ensures that all sports supplement, including drug-free, comply with the World Anti-Doping Code, international standards and meets the WADA’s stringent models of best practices and guidelines.
Approval by major league sports Major sports leagues such as the NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, NCAA and others have billions of dollars at stake in ensuring that their endurance athletes compete on a level playing field. To gain approval by major leagues, a sports supplement must first be vetted by independent testing laboratories that they are drug-free sports supplements.
Over the last three decades, the sports supplement industry has gone from a niche business to an industry that generates over $20 billion in sales annually. Endurance athletes looking for a safe and legal way to build endurance and supplement their diet nutritionally are well-advised to do their homework to ensure that the sports supplement of their choice is not only drug-free, but also in compliance with the sports organizations guidelines. By doing so, they are making sure that their careers do not fall into the black hole of ignominy too soon.

Here is how home organization ideas can save you money:
1. You will never buy another duplicate of something that you already have. How many times have you come home from the store with something only to realize either days or months later that you already had the exact same thing? When you are organized, you know exactly what you have at all times so you never waste your money buying something you already own.
2. No more late payments on any of your bills. When you get organized, you have a system for going through your mail and paying bills. These home organization ideas mean that you will never have a late payment on a bill because you lost it or didn’t know when it was due. Late payment fees can add large and unnecessary expenses to your budget.
A suggested mail/bill organization system: Get a desktop file organizer and create different folders for the mail that you get in. Make one of those folders “Bills” or “Action.” Make sure that all bills go in that folder and that you go through it at least once a week and pay what needs to be paid.
3. Saving money on eating out. When you get meal-time at your house organized, it means that you will not have to eat out because you forgot to go to the store or are too tired to think of what to cook for dinner. Getting your meals organized means that you will know what you are cooking for dinner every night before you even step foot in the door. It also means that you have organized your grocery shopping trips so you know exactly what you are getting before you ever get to the store. An added bonus of having a list when you go grocery shopping is that it tends to cut down on impulse buying of things you don’t need so yet another way that being organized can save you money. These are great home organization ideas that not only save you money but time as well.
A suggested meal/grocery organizing system: Have a weekly meal planner. On it write down every meal you are going to make that week and all of the items needed to make it. Then go through your cupboards and cross off the items you already have. Then write down what is left on your grocery list. A little grocery shopping tip: Write down the items on your list in the order that they are in the store. That saves you time in the store.
All of these home organization ideas involve putting a few simple systems in place to not only get you organized but to also help your budget. And who couldn?t use some help with your budget right now? For more free home organization help, go to http://www.YourHomeIsOrganized.com
Let’s face it, if you have kids, you have a lot of STUFF! I have four kids, and they are all active in various activities and like to do different things. The variety of their outdoor toys include:
Skis (for us older people) and Snow boards (the younger generation)
Footwear (winter and ski boots, snow shoes)
Camping equipment (tents, coolers, propane stoves and lanterns etc.)
Fishing poles and equipment
Unlike indoor toys, most of these items are not usually kept in my kids’ rooms, but in the garage for easy access. My struggle is to constantly keep things organized so that we can find what is needed, when we need it, and quickly. I have quite a few home built shelves in my garage as well as many handy hooks, but when I found out that a friend was moving into a brand new house and could organize her garage from scratch, I was jealous!
I love to organize, and garage organizers are one of the greatest things invented since sliced bread. Lucky me, she asked for my advice, and I was happy to oblige. Besides all of their toys, they also had a lot of gardening tools and her husband likes to do wood working, so there were a lot of items to organize, important if they also wanted to put their cars in the garage.
My first recommendation in garage organizers was to get a full storage system to go along one wall. The full system included various full length cupboards, as well as lower cupboards with a work space and then cupboards up above, just like in a kitchen. This type of system was perfect for her husbands tools because the wall above the work space comes with a slat or peg wall where many of the often used tools can be hanged for quick and easy access. These types of garage organizers are systems that come in all sorts of configurations and materials, so anybody can find something that will work for them.
Along the second wall is where I suggested putting the garage organizers that I am most excited about. These are the systems with a lot of customization options, and can easily be rearranged at any time to fit evolving needs. These are the garage organizers that include all the handy shelves, baskets and variety of hooks. There are different systems out there that all use the same basic structure. First, there are slat type pieces that attach to your garage wall. These can usually be purchased in different widths and lengths. You can create an entire wall of slats, or just one slat that is 4’ long, it just depends on your needs and available space.
Once you have the wall attachments in place, that is where the fun begins! You can get hanging baskets (wire or mesh) for all of your balls, there are shelves with hooks attached to the bottom for hanging bikes or other items, and then there are all sorts of different sized and shaped hooks for hanging most anything onto the wall. From these hooks you can hang ladders, hoses, garden tools, dollies, extension cords, leaf blowers, skis and snow boards (you can rest them on two hooks), fishing poles and the list goes on. You can also find garage organizers with special shelves designed for different items, such as a shoe rack or a cleaning caddy. Some systems have fold away work stations, which is great for gardening supplies and potting plants. Some system even have small bins for storing really small items (nuts and bolts). The best thing is that these garage organizers (hooks, shelves, baskets etc.) can be moved around and arranged on the slat wall any way necessary.
Yes, I am going to have a lot of fun organizing my friends garage. With all of the different garage organizers available today, and the great flexibility of the different systems, I will be able to find a place for everything that she needs to store, and she will be able to access it easily. Best of all, everything will have its own place, so the garage will STAY organized.
Life works incredibly well when our houses are clean and organized. When we’re organized, we can think more clearly, we’re more efficient, and we can take on projects that have lain dormant for months or even years. I even have a lot more energy when I
I love having a clean garage. It makes the rest of the house run smoothly and provides an excellent place for storing things that I can’t get rid of immediately. Also, as I continually clean out the house, I can immediately clear it away without having to excavate the garage in hopes of finding a suitable place to put things before I get around to disposing of them.
But garage organization is tricky. The garage holds a lot of varied things in it, which can make it a challenge for organization. And remember, lasting organization doesn’t happen overnight. It is crucial to start smart because decluttering takes a lot of effort at the beginning. I strongly recommend getting expert advice in order to see results quickly and avoid getting bogged down in too much “stuff”. You’ll save yourself hours and hours of work if you listen to the right people.
When I decided to get my garage organized, I followed these simple steps to get started:
Step 1. Get Rid of Everything You Can – This is not always the first step in organizing a room. But for the garage, it is essential. This is because garages are catch-alls. They fill up with random things that we have no plan for. When doing this step, it’s time to be very disciplined. If you know you’re going to have a problem with this, ask a friend for support. Other people will look at our mess with no emotional attachment and they can help us see how ridiculous it is to save some of the things that we’re holding on to. A good tip for this step is recycling household waste which, in my town, includes paint, batteries, electronic equipment (cords etc.), and old cleaners that I no longer use. Call your trash company to find out if anyone in your town provides this service.
Step 2. Get Rid of More – This seems silly, but it really works. Do a massive cleanout of your garage. Then don’t do anything else to the garage for several days. After that, go back into the garage and you’ll automatically see more things that you can get rid of. The key to decluttering garages is to get yourself into the mindset of having a useful, functional garage. Once you have this idea in mind, it will be easier and easier to clear it out. Repeat Step 2 as many times as you need until you have less and less in your garage.
Step 3. Train Yourself to Think “Appropriate” – When I set out to get my garage organized, I had to train myself to ask: Is this an appropriate thing to be in the garage? If not, then it had to go. Dress-up clothes, Christmas decorations, and furniture all had to find new homes. I put some of this up in the attic, and other things I had to get rid of. Don’t use your garage and a dumping site—it won’t prove to be useful space.

Our garage is a mess! The last house we lived in, there was no garage. So we were excited when we moved two years ago into a larger house with a garage. How wonderful for winter weather! We would not have to go out and defrost and clear the snow from the car. How wrong we were! Last year we were dumped on with snow, the worst winter in decades, and our car was outside in the driveway. What about our garage? It was a being used for storage, both organized and unorganized.
We really did try to organize our garage. We built shelves along the walls for boxes and plastic totes. Along another wall we had some metal shelves for home business items. There was also a work bench to keep tools organized with a cupboard above it that came from the kitchen remodel. But everything was still a mess, there just wasn’t enough room. The motorcycle was in the garage, so that was good, but it took up floor space requiring the rest of the garage to be even better organized if we hoped to fit a car in as well. Also, we were sloppy recyclers. We were really good at recycling milk jugs, cereal boxes and cardboard, but for some reason people just opened the door and threw it into the garage to be gathered and taken to the recycling center once a month. I know that we had recycling bins at one time, but who knows what happened to them?
So enough was enough, we did not need another winter with our car outside. My husband is a “do it yourself” kind of guy, which is really great, but we needed some help to get our garage organized, something that didn’t cost a lot of money. We did not need the fancy large cabinets that are really nice but out of our budget. Also, it is the garage, rough built shelves worked great, we just needed creative ways of finding more space.
With a little research, we discovered some GREAT garage organizers to help us get more out of our limited space. Obviously, this was a universal problem that someone had put a considerable amount of thought to and had done something about it! There are many different items available to hang most anything on your wall or ceiling.
If you have wall space that is not used up by shelving, you can get some great wall garage organizers. They come in different forms, but are basically like a peg board or wall slat system that is used in department stores. Once you have the wall system in place, you can purchase different types of brackets, hooks and shelves to fit most any need. There are hooks for hanging gardening tools to help organize your rakes, hoes, shovels, etc. There are special shelves and baskets available to fit other sporting goods or other miscellaneous items. You can get large hooks specially designed to hang bicycles or garden hoses, or really small bins for organizing different hardware items such as screws, nuts and bolts.
Now, I don’t really have much extra wall space for special hanging needs, though I could used some of these specialty hooks to help better organize some larger tools and bikes. And such hooks are available without having to purchase an entire wall system. Perfect for what I need.
The main accessible space that I have is the ceiling and I discovered some really neat systems to hang items. Some garage organizer systems are full metal shelves that hang. The shelf can come in varying sizes and depths. Sizes can vary from as small as a 2’ x 6’ to as large as a 4’ x 8’, with drop down depths varying from 12” to 45”. These shelves are perfect for seasonal items such as camping supplies. Some shelves, such as I have described, you have to access by ladder, other systems are available that work on a pulley system for easy access.
Another great garage organizer system that I found was tracks that hung from the ceiling. The tracks have an “L” shape. You position two sets of tracks the distance apart that you need so that you can hang plastic totes between them. For us this is perfect. All of our Christmas supplies are already kept in green plastic totes. We just hang the tracks 30” apart, label our totes and hang them by their lips on the tracks! Economical and we can keep using storage container that we already have. Also great for hanging plastic file containers. After all, where are you supposed to put those files that you are encouraged to keep for seven years? Many of these systems also come with special hangers for bikes and ladders.
Well, it did not take too much to get our garage organized. After all, we had been trying but were short just a little space. By using garage organizers to better organize some wall space for those awkward items like large tools and ladders, and then ceiling space for specialty items that only need to be accessed seasonally really helped. Though I have to say, that my favorite garage organizer gadget is my bike pulley!
In today’s world, you hear a lot about getting organized, it is the “in” thing to make life easier. We organize our closets, our shelves, our drawers, our laundry rooms, our desks and our calendar all in hopes of straightening out our lives. There are even garage organizers to fix our outdoor, where do I put it type stuff. As technology has improved, life has become more hectic and we often feel out of control as we try to juggle so many things. So anything we can organize gives us a sense of control and accomplishment.
So, say you have every thing else organized in your life, you have probably left the garage for last. It is a bit intimidating because probably while you were organizing the house anything you didn’t know where to put, was put in the garage. Plus you have your seasonal items out there (from summer camping to winter skiing), gardening supplies and any handyman tools are all stored in your garage. But spring is finally here, so it is the perfect time to tackle getting your garage in order.
Organizing your garage is going to be a big enough project, so when looking for what type of storage system you should use, there are three things to look for:
Easy - the items in your garage organizers should be easy to access, easy to find and be organized in a systematic fashion that is easy to understand. This includes using all of your available space, not just your floor space but also your wall space, and sometimes your ceiling space. Keeping many of your items off the floor also keeps them safe and dry. Versatile - this means that the garage organizers that you choose should be able to be adapted for many different functions or activities. Your storage options should be flexible and adaptable to the many different things that you need to organize. Modular and Expandable - a modular system is made up of different modules as the basis of design. These various modules should allow your garage organizing system to expand as your storage needs or pocketbook allows.
There are a couple of different storage systems that fit all of these criteria, two of these being Flow Wall and Gladiator Garage Works. These types of garage organizers have panels (slats) that are attached to your garage walls, available in different size configurations. Onto these panels you can easily hang a variety of hooks, shelves, baskets, small cabinets and workstations.
The panels themselves are designed to be both easy to install and easy to use. All of the many accessories mentioned above easily hang on the walls. And, the various storage accessories make these garage organizers very versatile. The different hooks vary is size and configuration to hang things from bikes and skis to heavy duty hooks for ladders and wheel barrows. Along with the different length shelves and various types of baskets a cabinets, these systems are very versatile and can be adapted to anyone’s different needs.
When necessary, you can easily add more panels for additional storage space, or rearrange the hooks, shelves etc. into different configurations for different storage needs. These two options make these types of garage organizers both modular and expandable.
So, when you finally get the courage to organize your garage, remember ease, versatility and modular expandability, and if you match all of these criteria in your system, you will be happy with the garage organizers that you choose for your garage.
The relationship between sports organizations and community service exists on at least two different levels: team activities and individual activities. The players may be asked to take part in various activities as a club; such activities would typically be accompanied by extensive publicity with cameras rolling. In addition, players may be asked to individually participate in activities to benefit the community as a whole. In each of these situations, the players may be pressured to be part of the community service, or they may choose to truly volunteer, either as a group or as individuals. In this instance, there may be less publicity.
Team Participation
Team participation in a particular community service project usually involves lots of publicity and may even be undertaken with the intent of convincing other members of the community to participate in the project. The team may appear at a rally to raise funds for a community center, or may take part in a drive to collect funds for Christmas gifts. Usually, the community service activity is a project that will benefit either the entire community or some segment of the community. The star power of the team is utilized to persuade others to join in physically or financially. During a fund raising drive for a community playground, for example, the players of a team may man the telephones to collect pledges, or sign autographs for fans in return for a donation. Although it is a team sanctioned event, the entire team may not always appear at every event.
Individual participation
Another type of relationship between sports organizations and community services is less formal. A team member may choose to participate individually in a particular community service project, simply because he or she believes in the project. This participation may be a matter of spending a few hours each week as a basketball coach at the local community center or Boys and Girls Club. The team member may choose to volunteer at a Blind Camp or as a Big Brother or Big Sister. In this instance, there is likely to be less publicity. In fact, the player may shun publicity for the project. This type of assistance can be either physical or financial. It can even be a matter of anonymous assistance, simply because the need is there and the player wants the attention focused on the need rather than on him or herself.
Financial Assistance
There is little doubt that sports figures are paid some of the highest salaries in the world today. It is for that reason that many in society assume that because players earn more money, they should also be more willing to contribute money toward the general welfare. The difficulty with this way of thinking is that each supplicant looking for help for a community or personal project believes that their pet project is of highest importance. Rarely is there any recognition that the player may have their own schedule of priorities that may not include financial assistance to individuals or community service projects. For sports stars and movie stars alike, there is some perception that since the public is responsible for the stardom, the public has the right to demand financial assistance from the sports star.
Training and educational volunteer
Often a player may feel they get more personal satisfaction from volunteering their own time for a community service activity. They may be fully capable of hiring someone to do the physical part project for them, but choose instead to actively, physically and emotionally participate in the planning or implementation of the project. In this instance, the only reason publicity is sought is for the good it will do the project itself. A surprising number of sports personalities choose to volunteer their time and energy in this way for the good of the community.
Publicity
Among those sports organizations that value the importance of publicity for the team, there can be a great deal of pressure upon team members to take part in publicity type community service projects. This can be to publicize the good citizen aspects of the team, or can even be a pet project of the team administration, owner or manager. Although the organizers of the community service project are usually happy to get any possible publicity for their project, in fact, the sports organization may be just as interested in fostering good publicity for the team because of the community service activities. The more fans that are happy with the team means more attendance at games which in turn can mean more revenue for the team.

Are you tired of fighting the junk in your garage….this is the perfect solution … garage organizer organization closets closet designer classic car DIY home improvement
Divide and Conquer One of the basic garage organization ideas is to simply split things up into categories of some sort. For the garage, this typically means dividing things by season (summer, spring, winter, fall) or category. Categories would be things like gardening, grill items, sports equipment, car repair items. Organize your garage with the end goal in mind of making it easy for you to find things. Categorize everything in your garage with that in mind.
Another garage organization idea that goes along with this is to swap items out by season. So when you know that you do not need those gardening supplies anymore, swap them out with the rakes that you know you will need to clean up those fall leaves. Keep the items that you need for the season on hand and put the others in a harder to reach area of the garage.
What’s In There Anyway Since garages are large and tend to be an area where things simply accumulate, make sure that you take an inventory of what is in your garage. Even better, create a map of what is in your garage and where it is. Garage organization ideas like this sound crazy on the surface but you would be surprised by how much time and energy you can save by making the simple investment of time to do this one thing. It also means you will not be arguing about where things go. A simple check of your garage organization map and you can easily see where the item belongs.
Another good garage organization idea is to make an inventory list of what is in the garage and where it is in the garage. This saves you from having to hunt around the garage for that perfect sized nail to hang your new picture.
Contain The Mess If at all possible, try to avoid having lots of loose items in the garage. Make sure that you put like items together in containers. Remember, your goal in getting your garage organized is to be able to find all of the stuff that is in it. Having the same kind of items together will make this easier. It is also a good idea to make an inventory list for each box and tape it to the front of the box. That way you know what is in the box without having to drag it down from wherever it is and rummage through it to try to find something. And avoid having a “miscellaneous” box. The problem with having that kind of garage organization box is that it tends to get bigger and collect all sorts of things that it should not.
There is a lot of small stuff in the garage that will need to get organized into containers too. Nails, screws, nuts, bolts all need a place to live in the garage. Two helpful garage organization ideas for those small items: 1) baby food jars for the very small items; 2) take the metal tops of jars and nail them under a shelf (this prevents you from losing the lids and makes sure that those containers always stay in the same place).
Whether you operate a baseball league in the summer, a hockey league in the winter, or any other type of sports organization, you know that communication is of paramount importance. In order to facilitate the smooth operation of your league, it is vitally important to communicate with coaches, players, sponsors and other organizers. In the past, this may have been a laboring activity. But now, with the power of email marketing solutions, it’s easy to create professional and effective email marketing campaigns with just a few clicks of the mouse.
One of the most common uses of email marketing solutions for sports organizations is to send out important announcements to coaches or team managers. In most leagues, if the coach/manager doesn’t know what is going on, then there will be chaos, which is obviously something the league organizers want to avoid. With the right email marketing solutions, the league organizers can send out a mass email to all the coaches, complete with maps to various venues (baseball diamonds, hockey rinks, swimming pools, etc), detailed schedules, links to websites like MapQuest for directions, and more. Through the power of email marketing solutions, leagues are no longer constrained to just plain-text emails. These communication messages can be jazzed up with graphics, which not only make them more eye-catching, but also more informative. As the cliche goes, “a picture says a thousand words”, so including a couple images can go a long way towards ensuring your coaches and team managers know everything you need them to know.
Email marketing solutions can also let you send captivating emails to all the players or participants in your league. Many leagues around North America have found it very effective to send out monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly newsletters to everyone in the league. This helps maintain a high level of interest because the participants are constantly being updated with all the latest news affecting the league. Most email marketing solutions will allow you to create a long or short newsletter, so there is no pressure to come up with a certain amount of articles to include. Sometimes newsletters during the off-season only have one or two articles, while newsletters sent out in the middle of a season may be packaged with five to seven articles. You can even ask players and coaches to submit stories and successes they’d like to share with the league. Your email marketing solutions will adapt to accommodate your needs so whatever it is you want to communicate, you will be able to do so easily.
Sending out newsletters with your email marketing solutions is also a great way to encourage enrollment for upcoming seasons, events or tournaments. Also, due to the viral nature of email, you can use your email marketing solutions to encourage current players to forward the email to their friends, which just takes one click, to further spread the word about your league and encourage additional enrollment. Ultimately, the more people you contact, the more people will be able to sign up for your league, and your email marketing solutions can put that communication on the fast track.
When you are running a sports league it is important that you know your message isn’t just being sent, but that it is also being read by your audience. With email marketing solutions, it is no longer a mystery as to whether your email is being read or not. Within minutes of sending your email campaign, most email marketing solutions will let you view real-time reports to see exactly who is opening your email and who is not. In most cases you can even see the date and time each person on your contact list opened the email. This lets you put your mind at ease because you will know that your communication was effective.
Email marketing solutions is an affordable and effective way to boost the communication efforts of your sports league. Regardless of the age or skill level of your league, being able to distribute information is always vitally important. With email marketing solutions in your arsenal, you will be better equipped to handle that challenge. Have a great season!

Garage organizing is a project that no one gets excited about. And when you think about garage organizing, the thought of an expensive garage organizational system often comes to mind. But getting your garage in order does not need to be expensive. There are plenty of ways to save money when you tackle this organizing project. Here are a few cheap and easy garage organizing ideas to get you started.
1. Go to thrift stores to find inexpensive or even free garage organizing supplies. With a little imagination, you can get a lot of cheap organizing supplies from a thrift store. When you go make sure that you have a list of what you need so you do not end up buying stuff that will just add more clutter to your life.
2. Recycle old food containers. Plastic and glass food containers make great organizational supplies for your garage. Just make sure you label what you put in them. You can get as creative as you want with this one. Permanent markers work great if you do not want to spend a lot of time on it. Paints work well if you would rather make it into more of a garage organizing project.
3. Check out FreeCycle.org and Craigslist.com for ideas and cheap or free garage organizing supplies. You can get free stuff from FreeCycle.org and cheap or free stuff from Craigslist.com. You might need to check often in order to get what you need. It is a good idea to have a clear idea of what you are looking for before you look at these sites. It is easier to search for an item than to just browse around.
4. Go to garage sales to find cheap garage organizing supplies. Unlike with thrift stores or the websites I mentioned, it is better to go to garage sales with an open mind rather than a list. Be open to thinking about how you can use what you find at garage sales for your organizing project.
5. Look around your house for old or unused furniture and organizing supplies. Before you throw out that old bookcase or table, think about how you can use it for your garage organizing project. Old bookcases make great shelving units in the garage. Old tables can provide a great workspace. Think about how you can use something to help you organize your garage before you toss it out.
Garage organizers are really a small part of anyone’s household because they are used outside and not on typically in areas where guests can see them or where you will care about appearance. There are garage organizers that look nice but they are in the minority. Usually all you will do with them is put them in a place that is used for industrial purposes or outside in the garage where you will only come into contact with them when you are moving or when you are arranging your storage.
There are sports fans out there with sports memorabilia. Some people are even nearly obsessive with it and have loads and loads of sports goods they either used to sell like baseball cards, signed sports autographs, and other large sports props. You will need a place to store these in your home because you rarely use them anymore. The smartest thing to do here is to get a garage sports organizer from Amazon or somewhere similar. What you can do is buy different shapes and sizes to best fit your sports material and then arrange them systematically so they best fit you garage.
Garage tool organizers are also really great for the home, they are used in the garage as well because most people have tool sheds or workshops outside where they keep tools. Retail stores like Sears sell garage tool organizers for a lot of money. I prefer to get mine online because they are such a great deal. You can then use the wall to store your tools or use wall organizers to easily access any pieces of equipment or old goods that you have so it won’t be a problem in the future.
